About the Institute

The S.Yu. Yunusov Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances is a premier scientific research facility operating under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. We are dedicated to the comprehensive study of plant-derived compounds, driving innovation at the forefront of modern analytical chemistry with advanced tools such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).

Our state-of-the-art scientific and technological center operates in strict accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements. We specialize in testing and developing advanced technologies for the production of pharmaceutical substances, establishing critical structure-activity relationships for new medicinal derivations.

Mission & Core Activities

  • Pharmaceutical Development: Innovating and testing active medicinal substances, including anti-inflammatory developments (e.g., COX-2 targeted derivatives).
  • Accredited Certification: Operating a globally recognized Certification Body and Testing Center (UzDSt ISO/IEC 17025:2019) to ensure the safety and quality of fertilizers, pesticides, and chemical plant protection products.
  • Environmental & Public Health: Conducting independent, objective assessments of domestic and imported agricultural products to protect human health, consumer interests, and the environment.
  • Scientific Collaboration: Facilitating international economic and scientific cooperation by implementing global certification practices and elevating the competitiveness of local manufacturers.
